Sure-Grip Avanti Magnesium Plates
The Avanti represents Sure-Grip’s modern approach to plate design, combining strength, precision, and reduced weight in a 10-degree double action platform. Available in both magnesium and aluminium versions, the Avanti Magnesium is built for skaters who want high performance without unnecessary bulk.
 
By using a magnesium alloy baseplate, Sure-Grip has been able to create a rigid yet lightweight plate with a hollowed design that maintains durability while keeping weight down. The plate layout includes four mounting holes at the front, making it easier to fit a wider range of boot shapes. Mounting hardware is included.
 
The Avanti Magnesium is fitted with newly designed precision adjustable pivot trucks, engineered to handle demanding skating styles while maintaining stability and control. Both the plate and trucks are finished with a durable white powder coat.

Avanti plate sizing corresponds approximately to UK boot sizes as follows:
Plate size 1 – UK 1–2
Plate size 2 – UK 3
Plate size 3 – UK 4
Plate size 4 – UK 5–6
Plate size 5 – UK 7
Plate size 6 – UK 8–9
Plate size 7 – UK 9–10.5
Plate size 8 – UK 10–10.5
Plate size 9 – UK 12–13

Fixings and fitting notes
Plates are sold as a pair.
Please note that plates with 7mm axles may need to be specially ordered and can have a longer lead time.
 
The fixing kit supplied  includes two pairs of front fixings and one pair of rear fixings, which is reflected in the price. For traditional heeled boots, the appropriate bolt fixing kit should be selected separately.
