🛠️ Pablo's Weekly Workshop Diary – 9th August 2026 🛼
We have managed to squeeze in another busy week of builds, conversions and a few interesting jobs!
🔥 This week in the workshop we've had a cracking pair of Bauer X-LP conversions, freshly built and ready for their new owner. We've also put together a set of bright pink wheels, bearings and laces ready to completely transform another pair of skates.
We've had more carbon fibre strengthening plates through the workshop too, ready for reinforcing boots before they're converted to quads.
One of the highlights has to be the pair of classic Nike Flexlite 2 boots mounted onto Sure-Grip Avenger plates. An absolutely brilliant combination and exactly the sort of older hockey boot we love getting our hands on.
And finally, a little trip back in time! We've had several pairs of old-school derby boots arrive for work, including Riedell R3, Dash and Sure-Grip Rebel boots. These are all waiting for some workshop attention and it'll be interesting to see what we can do with them. 👀
