Nothing Makes Us Happier Than Seeing Customers Skate Hard

One of the questions we're occasionally asked is:
"Do people actually skate these?"
The answer is always the same.
Absolutely.
In fact, one of the most rewarding parts of running Pabloskates is seeing customers put our builds through exactly the sort of punishment they were designed for.
This week we're featuring TKay, who has been absolutely sending it in a pair of Bauer NS quad skates built here in the Pabloskates workshop.
Watching the video, it's impossible not to smile.
The speed, confidence and commitment on display are exactly what these skates were built for.
Skates Are Made To Be Skated
It sounds obvious, but there's something satisfying about seeing a pair of skates transition from workshop bench to skating session.
When a build leaves the workshop, it's easy to admire the fresh wheels, shiny plates and spotless boots.
A few months later?
The wheels have wear marks.
The boots have scuffs.
The plates have scratches.
And that's exactly how it should be.
Every mark tells a story.
Every scratch means somebody is out there having fun.
The Bauer NS Continues To Impress
The Bauer NS remains one of our favourite boots for custom quad skate conversions.
It's comfortable, supportive and offers a fantastic platform for skaters who want a hockey-style setup without spending a fortune.
The boot provides:
Excellent ankle support
Great comfort
Strong heel lock
Responsive handling
A lightweight feel
Combined with a quality plate setup, it creates a skate capable of everything from casual rink sessions right through to aggressive chop skating.
TKay's skating is a perfect example of just how capable these conversions can be.
Confidence Comes From Trust
One thing that often gets overlooked is how important confidence is when skating.
Whether you're attempting a new move, learning transitions or dropping into something faster than you've skated before, you need confidence in your equipment.
You need to know:
The plate isn't going anywhere
The mounting is secure
The hardware is tight
The boot will support you
That's why we spend so much time obsessing over the details during the build process.
Because when somebody is pushing themselves on the rink, the last thing they should be worrying about is their equipment.
Why We Share Customer Videos
Customer videos are some of our favourite content.
Not because they're great marketing.
Not because they help sales.
But because they show the reason we do this in the first place.
There's something special about seeing a pair of skates go from an old hockey boot sitting in a workshop to a fully customised setup being enjoyed exactly as intended.
For every pair we build, the goal is simple:
Get people skating.
Everything else is a bonus.
Thank You For Sharing Your Skating
A huge thank you to TKay for sharing the footage and allowing us to showcase what's possible with a custom hockey skate conversion.
The skating speaks for itself.
It's always fantastic seeing customers enjoying their skates, pushing themselves, learning new skills and proving that converted hockey skates are far more than just a novelty.
They're real skates built for real skating.
Keep shredding. Keep progressing. Keep having fun.
And keep sending us the videos.
We genuinely love seeing what you do with your Pabloskates builds.
